Artis Cinema

As cinemas go, Artis has more of a bohemian vibe, eschewing the mainstream in favour of arthouse. Popcorn is definitely not on the menu. It showcases the best of world cinema: hit films from major festivals, as well as old classics. Hollywood blockbusters don’t get much of a look-in; think more along the lines of European cinema. All sorts of genres and formats are presented, from documentaries to animated features. In addition to its two screens, the cinema also has its own café.
