Reading is a lifestyle. For some, it is life itself. Writing likewise. Library is the best place for doing both.

The National Library of Estonia will close the doors of its iconic building at Tõnismägi for several years as of this November. After extensive renovation, we will welcome you to our new radiant intellectual hub. But we wish to be with our users also during the transformation period. Books are not going to disappear – just the opposite, new ones are coming out all the time.

As of 2022, the nucleus of the library will open for our old and new friends at Narva mnt 11, on our temporary premises. Yet we wish to be even closer to you and will thus bring selected newspapers, journals and books here, to Solaris Centre – to the heart of modern life. Solaris has always aspired to be not just a shopping centre but also a cultural meeting point – and that is where we step in.

In our Solaris embassy we are looking forward to all ideas and suggestions how to transform a library from one format to another in the most exciting manner. And, as people often come to a shopping centre to pass time – come visit us and pass the time with books!

Our embassy is open Mon-Sun 10.00-19.00
